Application Fee & Eligibility Criteria

  • Application Fee: ₹100/- (Exempted for Women, SC, ST, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen candidates).
  • Form Correction Fee: ₹200/- for the first correction and ₹500/- for subsequent modifications.
  • Age Limit (as on 01-01-2026):
    • Up to 30 Years (Born between 02-01-1996 and 01-01-2008) – Applicable to most departments.
    • Up to 32 Years (Born between 02-01-1994 and 01-01-2008) – Applicable to CPWD and specific posts.

Selection Criteria & Resolution of Tie Cases

The final merit list for SSC JE 2025 was prepared on the basis of normalized marks obtained in Paper-I and Paper-II combined with the online post-preferences submitted by candidates. In cases where candidates achieved equal aggregate scores, ties were resolved using the following sequential rules:

  1. Higher marks scored in Paper-II (Computer Based Examination).
  2. Higher marks scored in Part-A (General Engineering subject) of Paper-I.
